Social Media Creative Marketer

The role of Social Media Creative Marketer at Super Evil Genius Corp is for people that well, like people. You are the client whisperer and the internal motivator for your accounts. The people who tend to do well at this role are those who are system-oriented, as well as able to maintain multiple project timelines at once. This person is sociable and friendly with all different types of people. We offer a hybrid work schedule, but would require four days in office at our Long Beach location to interface and strategize with the rest of the team.

Experience And Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 Years experience managing social channels and/or institutional messaging on behalf of a high-profile artists and brands
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably working with experience in the music industry or agency
  • Strong voice: ability to adapt the company’s mission statement, values, and ethos into a persona that will resonate with the audience of each account
  • Experience developing social strategy from the ground up
  • Proven results driving follower growth and engagement across multiple social platforms
  • Innovative mindset: high aptitude for generating compelling new ideas, and a willingness to experiment with new concepts
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, apparent in work samples
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, analytics, and best practices
  • Proficiency in content creation. Experience managing projects involving photography, videography, and graphic design
  • Experience guiding and overseeing the work of contractors, including photographers and videographers
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to quickly derive insights from data, and make creative recommendations accordingly
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and collaborative approach
  • Ease in working with social media management tools, Google Sheets, and analytics software
  • Extensive knowledge of core and emerging social media platforms to included (but not limited to): Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, Snapchat, Threads & More
  • Experience working within an integrated team with various workstreams across capabilities
  • Knowledge of Slack, Asana, Google Slides, Google Sheets

Focus: This role is for someone who is obsessed with music and festival marketing. We are looking for someone who is well-traveled, someone who understands the nuances of social media marketing on various platforms, and someone who has a healthy understanding of what it takes to grow a new brand in 2024.

This role is a full-time role in-office/hybrid work schedule at our Long Beach, CA location. The Account Executive position is a salary-based position with 401K Match Plan, Health, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance benefits, as well as two weeks per year of vacation pay.
